The housing is shock resistant and protects the camera from water, sand, dust, frost and other damaging elements.
This
MK-D500 housing is specially designed for Nikon D500 camera. It is
compact and light-weight. The rubberized polycarbonate construction
makes the case durable and resistant to corrosion. Special polycarbonate
blends allow us to create an extremely strong and lightweight
enclosure. Unlike aluminum, polycarbonate is fundamentally
corrosion-resistant for easy maintenance year after year.
A
moisture alarm (Light & Audio) is included in the housing as an
extra feature, in order to avoid any potential damage to your housing
due to wrong closing.
The port is made of integrated flat glass with an anti-reflection coating on both sides. And it has a depth rating of 130' (40 m). Simply drop the camera in and close the housing via the snap closure.
The camera's large, super-bright LCD screen is viewable through the back of the housing.
Controls are put right at your fingertips for all important camera functions.
The housing features two 1/4"-20 tripod mounting holes.
It also comes configured with a cold shoe for mounting accessories.
There is also an external strobe connector.
